Emily Jordan earned a double major in English and French at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. After graduating college, she spent two years as a high school English teacher in France, sharing American culture with her students and traveling throughout Europe. She also did volunteer work in Honduras and Peru. Travel is her favorite pastime, but she also enjoys cooking, hiking, and salsa dancing.

Victoria Castillo earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Trevecca Nazarene University. She has invested much of her time with the Tennessee Immigrant & Refugee Rights Coalition (TIRRC), conducting translations, and participating in public rallies. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, and dancing.

Valentina Garcia graduated as a lawyer in Caracas at the Central University of Venezuela, where she also earned her postgraduate degree in tax law. She worked at the Tax and Customs Agency for Venezuela, and then moved on to the Venezuelan Supreme Court. After coming to the United States of America she worked in the retail business for two and a half years. Valentina enjoys working out, meditating, reading and spending time with her family.

Caleb Smith earned a double major in English and Spanish at Centre College in Kentucky. He also holds a Master of Arts in Literary Translation from the University of Rochester NY. Prior to joining Rose Immigration Law Firm, Caleb was the Program Administrator for HOLA Lakeway, a non-profit organization serving diverse immigrant communities. Caleb enjoys playing tennis and was a standout player in high school and college. He also enjoys reading a good book, being in nature, and attending the many cultural festivities of Nashville and surrounding areas.

Previously he was editor and publisher of Query, Tennessee’s first weekly lesbian and gay newspaper, and Stages, Tennessee’s Onstage Monthly.
