Patricia Lekki holds a B.A. in Spanish with minors in French, German and International Business from Lipscomb University. She has traveled extensively to Latin America, Europe, and Asia for mission trips, ambassador programs, leadership training, and work with Habitat’s Global Village program. She spent four years focused on UK Immigration matters, but she has over 15 years’ experience as a paralegal working on US Immigration matters. Patricia is extremely active in the Nashville community through various philanthropic endeavors. She enjoys competitive dragon boating, stand-up paddle boarding, and spending time with her family in the down time.
Marci came to Rose Immigration Law Firm from Vanderbilt University, where she worked as an International Student & Scholar Advisor for ten years. Marci worked with the non-immigrant F and J visa holders and organized the International Lens Film Series at Vanderbilt. Before moving to Nashville in 2005, Marci worked as an International Student Advisor at Ramapo College of New Jersey, and worked at the Institute of International Education in Chicago. Marci is a Francophile, has taught French briefly and is involved in the Alliance Française de Nashville. She became interested in helping internationals after living in France after her college years at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She enjoys reading, cinema, going out with friends and traveling in her free time.
Gary Coin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in French from Michigan State University as well as a paralegal certificate from Oakland University. He has more than 20 years of experience in immigration, concentrating mostly on employment-based matters. He spent most of his life in the Detroit area before moving to Nashville in 2013. Gary is fluent in French and also has been a French to English translator for many years. He has visited distant relatives in northern France as he has learned about his roots. When he isn’t busy working or translating, he enjoys spending time with his family, whether it’s camping, enjoying live music or recounting funny stories from his youth.
Erica O’Brien, an Atlanta native, graduated magna cum laude from Georgia Southern University with a B.S. in Justice Studies. Before joining Rose Immigration Law Firm, Erica worked as an immigration paralegal for two years specializing in the PERM labor certification process. When not at work, Erica spends her time hiking, cooking, and exploring Nashville’s vibrant music scene.

Abbey Coady earned her bachelor’s degree in history and German at St. Olaf College, spending her junior year at the University of Konstanz, Germany. She has taught English and German in Hungary and earned her master’s degree in comparative and international development at the University of Minnesota. She worked for several years as the international student adviser at Vanderbilt University, holds a certificate in TESL, and has taught ESL through the Tennessee Foreign Language Institute.
Abbey has traveled throughout much of Europe, parts of Asia, and even dipped her toe into Africa! She has served as chair and/or treasurer of several volunteer organizations, currently volunteers with the exchange organization America Field Service (AFS), and is the chair of cultural enrichment at Grassland Elementary School in Brentwood, Tennessee.
Born in the Philippines, Carina immigrated to the U.S. in 2008 and became a U.S. citizen in 2012. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola Marymount University in Communication Studies and Asian Studies. She focused her thesis on Justice for Filipino-American Veterans, an organization that works with Filipino-American veterans to gain access to benefits awarded to all U.S. war veterans. She became interested in the topic after learning about her grandfather’s experience in World War II. The difficulties he faced while trying to immigrate inspired her to work in immigration. As a new transplant to Nashville, she is looking forward to experiencing Music City.
Peter Odeh-Ukoli is a native of Nigeria, and became a U.S. permanent resident in 2010. Peter assists primarily with file maintenance and website management. He holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Nashville State Community College. He is currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Information Systems at Middle Tennessee State University.
Soraya Nosrati holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration (magna cum laude) from Miami Dade College. She was born to a Puerto Rican mother and a Persian father, but having grown up in South Florida she has been shaped by the strong Cuban culture of Miami. She enjoys outdoor activities and traveling with her family and has a passion for animals and philanthropic work.
